Following her marriage to a Naval Officer, she worked with the Department of Defense as an RN at the Triage Center at the Yokosuka Naval Hospital in Japan, where she also earned her Master of Arts Degree in Human Relations. Returning to the United States in 2002, Yvette continued her career path as a Triage Nurse for Kaiser Permanente in Hawaii before relocating to Maryland. Subsequently moving to Celebration, Florida, Yvette diversified her experience by working as a chart review HEDIS auditor, Immunization Travel Nurse for Passport Health, and consulting for a Danish Company on healthcare app creation. She also worked as a home health hospice nurse before joining the U.S. VA Hospital in Orlando, where she held various roles, ultimately becoming the Nursing Officer in Charge. Now settled in West Palm Beach with her family, Yvette has returned to hands-on patient care, currently working in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital. Her passion for travel, interest in alternative medicine, and dedication to understanding diverse cultural backgrounds drive her commitment to helping others live their best lives.
